1. Who we are

EasyCarDeals.net is a car-buying concierge service operating in California. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that business, and "you" means anyone who visits easycardeals.net or contacts us.

We are not a licensed vehicle dealer. We do not sell vehicles, hold vehicle inventory, or take title to a vehicle.

2. What we collect

Information you give us directly

When you fill in the enquiry form on our home page, we ask for:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• State
• Your buying timeline — when you are looking to buy
• The vehicle you are interested in — make, model, trim
• How you heard about us
• Anything else you choose to tell us in the free-text box

If you call or email us instead, we collect whatever you choose to share in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

Our website is hosted on Vercel. Like nearly all web hosts, Vercel records standard server request information when a page loads — including your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser type and, where your browser sends one, the page you came from. We use this only to keep the site running and secure. We also count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, described in section 5.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, driver's licence number, bank account details, card numbers, or credit report through this website. Please do not send any of those through the enquiry form or by email. If those details become necessary later in a purchase, they are handled directly between you, the selling dealership and your lender — not through this site.

3. Why we collect it

• To reply to you and arrange your consultation.
• To do the work — sourcing a vehicle and negotiating on your behalf requires knowing what you want and how to reach you.
• To understand where enquiries come from, which is why we ask how you heard about us.
• To keep the site working and secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with dealerships for advertising, and we do not accept payment from dealers for referrals or leads.

4. Who else sees it

We use a small number of outside services to run the site. Each one is listed here with what it receives and why.

Our "Shop for cars" page is powered by a third-party vehicle listings provider. Those requests are made by our server, not by your browser — so your IP address is not passed to that provider. It receives only the search filters, such as make, model and year.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

5. Cookies and tracking

easycardeals.net does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and there is no advertising pixel on the site. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, and it is not used to identify you or to follow you across other websites. The outside services listed above may set their own cookies or store data in your browser when their content loads — that is under their control, not ours.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are working with you, and afterwards for two years so we can pick up where we left off if you come back to us. Server logs are kept for a shorter period by our host as part of normal operations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see your rights below.

7. How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiry details are transmitted to our form processor over an encrypted connection and reach us by email. Access to that inbox is limited to the people who need it to do the work.

No website or email system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. That is part of why we ask you not to send sensitive financial or identity documents through this site.

8. Your California rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Those include:

• The right to know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with.
• The right to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions the law allows.
• The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing here to opt out of — but the right exists and we will honour it if that ever changes.
• The right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse you service, charge you differently, or give you a worse result because you asked.

To make a request, email inquiry@easycardeals.net or call (916) 251-8991. We may need to verify who you are before we act, which usually means confirming details you already gave us. You can authorise someone else to make a request for you; we will ask for proof of that authority.

9. Children

This site is meant for adults buying vehicles. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Vehicle listings on this site

Vehicle listings shown on our "Shop for cars" page come from a third-party data provider and are not our inventory. Prices, availability, mileage and specifications can be out of date or wrong. Nothing on that page is an offer to sell, and we do not control that data. Always confirm details with the selling dealership before relying on them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing a line.
